Today, we’re going to talk about my latest favorite: “Princess Amelia The Great”. Now, obviously, the name can be any name you choose because that’s the magic of Wonderbly – it’s a PERSONALIZED experience. So let’s dive into the review:
I’m giving this one a 5/5 and you’ll understand why when you take a peek at the illustrations. The colors are absolutely gorgeous and the mix of jewel tones and pastels really make the images jump off of the page as you’re flipping through.
The next thing that sold me on this book was the theme. On the website, the book description is listed as: “A little princess or prince has been invited to the palace to celebrate someone special – but who could it be? On their way they’ll meet lots of magical creatures who need their help and learn what makes a true champion.” But, it’s so much more than that. Your little Prince or Princess will see themselves committing acts of bravery and kindness throughout the book and be awarded with titles such as, “Princess ____, The Clever”. I love the promotion of kindness and helping those in need – something this world needs a lot more of.
Lastly, I want to share my favorite quote from the book: “When choosing a champion, we must decide, not on riches or looks, but the person inside.” Honestly, enough said. This book is beautiful, in every way possible.
