If you’ve been following me for a while, you know my kids are BIG readers and we go through books at lightning speed. Ethan turns four this coming September and is slowly transitioning out of soley reading board books. To make room for his “big boy” books, we’ve been weeding some of our older ones out for donation and it got me thinking that it might be a good idea to share some of our favorites throughout the years.
So I present to you, our favorite books for ages 0-3 years:
- Anything from Wonderbly. You all know I’ve been working with Wonderbly for quite some time, and for good reason. I love being able to put my children INTO the story and see their excitement when they realize they’re the main character. Wonderbly even has an entire line dedicated to ages 0-3: https://www.wonderbly.com/landing-pages/personalized-products/personalized-books-0-3-range-page. My personal favorite is, “My Adventures in Wonderland” because the illustrations are BREATHTAKING. Use code W2Q2MF6 to save 15% at checkout!
2. The “You’re My Little” line, illustrated by Natalie Marshall. I have collected every single book in this series and will continue to do so. They’re so sweet & simple and the perfect books to gift for holidays.
3. The “Never Touch A” line. Anything sensory friendly is an automatic win in my book. These books have a “touch and feel” feature on every page and we own at least 10 or so out of the 30+ in the series.
4. “Llama llama, Red Pajama”. This book will always have a special place in my heart. We own several from the series but the original was a favorite of both of my little ones. It’s on the longer side for a board book but that’s a plus for me. It’s the PERFECT bedtime book. Bonus: it got made into a Netflix series!
5. Literally anything from “Priddy Books”...seriously. We are HUGE Priddy Books fans, especially of their “First 100” line. I credit these books TREMENDOUSLY for helping Ethan’s speech, as well as, his object recognition. If you’re an ASD or special-needs mama, check these books out!
What other books would you add to this list? Let me know in the comments!
